If you spend any amount of time in our home you’ll notice something quickly; how much staying connected means to us – and in so many ways. We like to stay connected both physically and emotionally as a family but also throughout our home, and life, and with all things tech related. Staying connected in all aspects of our life is what holds our home together, literally and figuratively!
Since moving into our home we have had the hardest time finding a Wi-Fi system that works well with the layout. Our home is quite spread out – and not only that, it was built to withstand the test of time. Our whole home is cinderblock and then brick laid over it, plus it was built in the late 40’s so all the walls are lath and plaster as well. Needless to say, staying connected and getting a Wi-Fi signal to get through these walls has been more than challenging…until now!
We recently started using the Samsung Connect Home and all of our Wi-Fi woes have disappeared! It provides corner-to-corner coverage and has eliminated old Wi-Fi dead spots. It’s an expandable mesh Wi-Fi network with a coverage range of 1500 sq. ft. per hub, and users can wirelessly connect up to five Samsung Connect Home devices (hubs) for coverage up to 7,500 square feet. Because of that we were able to extend coverage onto our deck and into our pool house, which will be perfect for summer!
Samsung Connect Home is a Wi-Fi router and SmartThings hub all in one. It’s a smart home system that I feel like was developed with me in mind. Whether one of my sons is gaming or another is watching TV on our Samsung Frame; whether my daughter is streaming YouTube or I’m updating my blog; or whether my husband is working from home, and the doorbell rings and we all check who it is through our Ring Video Doorbell system – the Samsung Connect Home and the Samsung Connect App are the connective tissue that makes it all possible. It’s built to work with many of your existing smart home devices including but not limited to your TV’s, appliances, security systems, lights, and much more.
And lastly, can we talk about how clean and sleek the Connect Home design is!? Thanks to its simple, minimal look the Connect Home has seamlessly found its way throughout our home without looking like an eye sore. Another reason I fell hard for it – the Connect Home makes it super easy to say goodbye to those big, unsightly antenna-laden routers that could never just be left out in the open. I love the look of the Connect Home and don’t mind the hubs being placed any and everywhere around our home.
The Samsung Connect Home has made such a difference for us around here. No more spotty Wi-Fi while trying to work from home, do homework, and scroll through Instagram. Plus, the ability to use one app to control all of the many smart home functions we have around here has not only simplified my life, but also my phone by allowing me to streamline all of my apps.
