Is there anything better than the month of October full of all things Autumn!? Give me all the football, pumpkins, mountain drives to see all the leaves, cozy layers and warms soups! Since I often get asked for my recipes, I actually wrote down this one for you all when I made it last week. A super delicious, easy one pot recipe that’s fits all of our families various diet needs, paleo + keto + gluten + dairy free! It’s one of our favorite chilis with a secret ingredient that brings out all of the flavors!
No Bean Turkey Chili
You will need:
6 lbs. ground Organic Turkey
1 whole yellow onion chopped
4-6 cloves garlic minced
1 green bell pepper chopped
1 red bell pepper chopped
1 yellow bell pepper chopped
1 orange bell pepper chopped
1-2 whole fresh jalapeños deveined, deseeded and diced (depending on spice level)
1/4 cup ground cumin
3 Tbsp chili powder
1/4 cup Organic Reduced Sodium Chicken Better than Bouillon
3 Cans of Organic Stewed Tomatoes (15oz)
1 Can of Organic Diced Tomatoes (15oz)
8 drops Oregano Vitality essential oil (get it HERE)
Brown turkey in a large stock pot. While turkey is browning add 2 Tbsp of the ground cumin + 1 Tbsp chili powder. When turkey is almost browned add in the whole chopped onion and the minced garlic. Once the onion is close to soft add in the chopped peppers, diced jalapeños and stir for just a couple of minutes. Then add in the stewed + diced tomatoes (tip: I blend up my organic stewed tomatoes in my vitamix on setting 3 for just about 5-10 seconds to make them a bit less chunky). Add remaining cumin, chili powder and the 1/4 cup better than bouillon. If needed you can add the better than bouillon to 1/4 hot water, but I just stir it right in! Last, but certainly not least add your 8 drops of Oregano Vitality Essential oil! Don’t forget this as it adds so much to the flavor!
Garnish with some fresh avocado + cilantro and enjoy!
You can add beans to this chili if you like! When we have I usually like to add just 1 can of rinsed and strained organic black beans.

WOW! This came out so delicious! I do the same thing, taking inspiration from a recipe and then changing it up. I had some left over roasted sweet potatoes so I just carmelized onions, browned the turkey in a pan, added some other vegetables, red thai chili paste, and a bit of lemongrass (along with everything you put in the recipe) and it came out amazingly delicious! My fiance was shocked because I put it together rather quickly and it was so yummy 🙂
