We have been enjoying the warmer weather we’ve had around and spent some time this weekend wandering the neighborhood, playing in the park and finding little treasures all along the way. Spring is definitely in the air, and I am SO excited to announce my blog launch with my first ever giveaway! It’s a combination of some of my most favorite things.
If you didn’t already know, I’m a huge Hello Apparel fan. I love supporting small businesses and when I discovered Hello Apparel it was love at first sight. From their Adults to kids clothes, everything in their line is unique, fun and beyond comfy. And L loves that we can “be da same.” Who doesn’t love twinning it up occasionally with their little ones. Plus you won’t find better customer service around. All of their pieces are simple and work with everything. Trust me, I should know…we sport some sort of Hello Apparel piece at least 3-4 times a week in this house…and they just get better with time.
I discovered The Mason Bar Company last spring and haven’t put my mason jar down since. I use it everyday. For smoothies, tea (hot or cold), infused water, and just plain ole H2O. I have the 24oz Tumbler with a glass Dharma straw and it goes with me everywhere. In fact I don’t know what I ever did without it! I love drinking water out of it as it is always so fresh tasting (even when I leave it overnight) with no funky leachy plasticy, or aluminumy (I don’t even know if those are words…but you get my point) flavors mixed in. You want one, trust me.
When I opened my package from Maylilies I was immediately taken. Seriously, a darling little box topped with adorable washi tape and wrapped with a simple bakers twine. And then to open it to the most simple, yet classy gold bar bracelet was the complete package! This piece is my new favorite. It adds just the right amount of simple beauty to any outfit.
One lucky reader will receive:
$50 Store Credit to Hello Apparel
$25 Store Credit to The Mason Bar Company
And a Gold Bar bracelet from Maylilies
Plus in the mean time you can use code “TAG” for %15 off from Hello Apparel
use code “MIKOB15” for %15 off from The Mason Bar Company and Maylilies
I am so very excited for our 6′ of snow to start melting! It’s been -20F all winter here with many weeks of -40F or colder and I am in a bit of an exercise/vitamin slump! That being said, your green tea smoothie from IG has been a wonderful way to incorporate greens on mornings where only “hot” food sounds appealing! Also, we are buying a house!!!!! I am so excited I can’t even stand it. And I am so excited for your blog! Thank you for sharing a little piece of your heart with us! xx Katie
Your blog looks wonderful! And your family is adorable:) Hope your blog takes off, dear!

Spring, we are itching for some warmer weather -40 this winter has done us in. We are beyond excited to get back in the saddle, only getting to ride a few times this winter has been rough! I missed fall riding as we welcomed our second little bundle in October. An early morning spring ride where the grass is wet the birds are singing that air has a bit of a bite to it yet, one of the most refreshing aspects of life on the farm.
I’m excited for spring and all the beautiful things that will start blooming! I plan to plant a garden this year. Let’s hope I have a green thumb. Spring is my favorite time. I can’t wait to get outside more and enjoy the warm weather. I really enjoy following you and seeing all your wonderful post; they inspire me!
The weather!
Welcome! I’ve loved following along on IG – blogs are fun too!!
Oh and I’m from SoCal so our winter has pretty much been spring all along! I’d actually like a bit of cooler weather!
I am most excited about moving into our new home and starting our life as a U.S. Army family! My hope it so start a small garden and host many playground playdates for my 10-month old. PS: This is already one of my favorite blogs! You go, mama!
I’m not sure if my previous comment worked, so I’ll do it again! Miko, I love this blog! So elegant and honest. I am most excited about starting my new garden in our new home and going on playdates with my 10-month old!
Miko, I have been following your Instagram feed for a while now and I”m sure you already know this but your family is simply adorable. It seems, to me, that you put a ton of joy and love into everything you do from your children to your home and even the meals you prepare. I am happy that you are opening up your home and your family to your new readers. I wish you luck and happy thoughts. 🙂
I found your page through hello apparel and love your pics!! Your family is adorable!
I’m most excited for the snow to melt! It’s been the longest winter ever!!
I am excited for camping season, starting the garden, blooming flowers and trees, freshly cut grass, spending quality time outdoors.. but mostly just camping.<3
Congrats to your blog launch! i’ve been waiting for this since you post a shout out from your ig account. A new follower from the Philippines for a couple of weeks now and also love everything you post from your food account. What a lovely giveaway and more power!

So excited for warmer weather, flowers, sandals and a break from school! The blog looks great, Miko!
I’m excited to play outside with my sweet toddler and for the arrival of my baby boy!
I just moved to Texas on a wing and a prayer right before winter. I learned shortly after it began that the winters are harsh and the summers make you wish for death. Therefore, I am looking forward to the next few weeks before it is 90+ every day until next November. Today was 84 and perfect. The sunshine seems to remind my lungs how to breathe again after a harsh cold winter both physically and emotionally.
Me and my kids love our Hello Apparel products. Such cozy shirts and sweatshirts. You can catch me almost every morning dropping my daughter off at school with crazy hair, big cup of coffee, leggings, and one of their sweatshirts. It’s a staple. And, I have been dreaming of the mason bar company jar!
I’m excited my sandals! My footies have been hiding in boots for far too long
I live in Hawaii so not the cold weather but just less rain here and more sunshine!
I’m most excited about the cherry blossoms blooming all over Seattle.
love this! cant wait to get out in the garden!
I absolutely love all of the above companies! Would be great to be picked!
Liking the blog! You’re an inspiration and such a beautiful person. Can’t wait to see some of the stuff you post.
I can’t wait for the air to get warm, to open up windows and feel a nice breeze that won’t make me shiver. To relax on blankets under trees with friends, drinking cooling coffee. To wiggle my toes in the freshly cut grass.
I’m so excited to take my babies to the park for some fun! I’m soooo over this cold snowy weather!
I’m excited for spring flowers, sandals, long walks, and planting my garden.
Running outside when it isn’t snowing or raining is what I’m most looking forward to! No more cold, wet feet!
Lovely giveaway!
Need to Spring clean my soul….
I love being surprised by the flowers popping up in my yard every spring!
Love both mason jars and the shirts! I’ve been wanting to look into Hello apparel more and this gave me the push. Your blog looks great – such an adorable family.
i’m super excited about sandal weather!
So cool about your blog! You and your family are beautiful! I love you! I look forward to getting my mason bar tumblers. So glad I got to spend time with you while you were home. Thanks for the love for all of us, especially grandma.
Oh, how I love spring! Living in New England one can really appreciate the “rebirth” of spring. Everything is new, green, crisp and fresh. I am most excited to get my beloved heirloom seeds in the ground! I also love the first day the weather is warm enough to blast good tunes with the windows down in the car and enjoy the warm breeze!!! Spring is simply my favorite!
I’m most excited about the weather and celebrating my daughters first Easter!!;)
Spring!! The smells…the Cherry blossoms!
I adore cherry trees, but most of all, how my daughter sings the popcorn tree song as we pass them on our walks 🙂
